UAE Celebration Day - December 2016
Celebrating UAE Celebration day was so much fun at the nursery. The children were able to dress up in national dress or wear the colours of the UAE flag. Some of our local emirate families brought in traditional food, and so each of the classes took it in turns to have food tasting sessions - there were lots of yummy foods to taste and enjoy in celebrating the United Arab Emirates. The teachers also had lots of different UAE themed arts and crafts activities set up in the classroom to get in the spirit. We took lots of lovely pictures of the traditional dress and all had a great time!

From singing and dancing, to arts and crafts and playing outside in the playground, the Dads were even invited to have fun and pose with the children in our ‘Superdad’ photo booth. We even had a daddies press up challenge, which as you can imagine got quite competitive.

Aquarium and Underwater Zoo Trip - November 2016
As part of our Pirates and Mermaids topic, the children at Toddler Town Jumeirah took a trip to the Dubai Mall Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, on a big yellow bus! We spotted the Burj Khalifa on our way to Dubai Mall!
Our journey through the Aquarium started with walking through the underwater tunnel where we got to see lots of amazing and colourful exotic fish - we especially were excited to see Dory! There were lots of different fish in lots of different sized tanks, big and small; we couldn’t miss the huge Shark swimming over our heads!

Toddler Town became rather ‘Frightful’ on Monday 31st October 2016. The children were invited to attend nursery in their spookiest fancy dress for Halloween. From witches to cats, vampires to super-heroes and villains, the children looked fantastic. Each class visited Tiny Town to sing and dance to spooky tunes in our Halloween party area, complete with decorations and photo backdrop.
